Places to visit
Larnaca International Airport: 68km – It takes around 60 minutes to get to the hotel and you can expect to pay around €65 each way in a taxi. If you’re thinking about taking a taxi, there’s a taxi station straight outside the arrivals lounge.
Amathus Ruins – With one of the oldest Cypriot ancient towns just 15-20 minute’s walk away, Amathus ruins is surely one not to miss. It’s known to have been inhabited from at least 1050BC and the origins of Amathus are still very unclear. The archaeological ruins of Amathus include several ancient sites including tombs and the famous acropolis with a 1st
century temple to Aphrodite.
Limassol Old town: 10km – It’s closer than you think and within 15-20 minutes you will be at the historical town of Limassol. The old town has that important feel of traditional Cyprus with cobbled streets and quirky shaded cafes. Be sure to head down to the recently developed promenade which is packed with tourist shops bars and restaurants. You can either visit by bus, car or taxi. A taxi would cost you around €15 each way.
Troodos Mountains: A visit to Cyprus wouldn’t be complete without absorbing the beauty of the Island. If you’re looking to build your holiday album, then hire a car or better still take a guided tour to the Troodos Mountains. The range is in the centre of the island and stretches across most of the western side of Cyprus so you can imagine the kind of views there. It’s hard not to stumble across some beautifully quaint villages hidden in the mountain side, which are also home to some richly decorated Byzantine monasteries.
A doctor will visit the hotel on request 24 hours a day (with extra charge). Please contact the reception team to arrange a visit. In the unfortunate instance where you require hospital treatment, you can visit the general hospital which is around a 10 minute drive away (15km). For lighter cases where a trip to the pharmacy will suffice, there is a pharmacy which opens daily and is just a 5 minute walk away.
