Places to visit
Chania International Airport: 17km – It takes around 20minutes to get to the hotel and you can expect to pay around €40 each way in a taxi. If you’re thinking about taking a taxi, contact members of the reception desk staff which will happily assist you in calling a taxi service.
Chania city center: 11km – We are about a 20minutes journey to Chania city center and you can either visit by bus, car or taxi. A taxi would cost you around €20 each way.
A doctor will visit the hotel on request 24 hours a day. Please contact the reception team to arrange a visit. A private hospital is also available on the Island. For lighter cases where a trip to the pharmacy will suffice, a pharmacy opens daily in the local resort and is just a 10 minute walk away.
The hotel is suitable for wheelchair access and there are spacious rooms accessible for wheelchairs. For any special requirements please e-mail us in advance and we will be happy to help.

Tucked away on Crete’s north coast, in the foothills of the White Mountains, Gerani is a quaint village that may be geared up for the holiday crowd but still manages never to feel too busy. It makes a great base for hiking in the hilly surrounding countryside, while Platanias and Chania are just down the road if you want nightlife.
